5C has just committed to bringing large-scale AI infrastructure directly to the European market. We are proud to contribute to the growth of AI factories in this key region of the world to deliver scalable, secure, high-performance computing resources and AI infrastructure at this level.
As part of a strategic alliance with Hypertec and Together AI, and backed by $5 billion in private investment, we aim to deliver over 2 GW of data center capacity and up to 100,000 GPUs (including NVIDIA Blackwell and future-generation GPUs) to European markets, with developments in France, United Kingdom, Italy, and Portugal at the top of the list.
In June, at the Viva Technology (VivaTech) conference in Paris, we announced this initiative alongside the Honourable Evan Solomon, Canada’s Minister of Artificial Intelligence and Digital Innovation, and set forth a plan to build one of Europe's largest sovereign AI infrastructure networks.

As demand for AI compute continues to grow, Europe has faced pressure to meet its infrastructure needs domestically. Our alliance, with experience in addressing key functionalities of AI facilities—such as large language model training, inference workloads, and AI-driven services—is addressing this gap head-on by delivering these resources where they’re most needed.
This initiative is expected to generate high-skilled jobs across Europe and North America while driving regional economic development. Its strong focus on sustainable, energy-efficient AI infrastructure demonstrates the alliance’s commitment to minimizing environmental impact and supporting Europe’s long-term climate goals.

Continuing the Momentum: Back to Paris for RAISE Summit
As part of this same commitment to our neighbours across the Atlantic, the 5C and Together AI teams are heading back to Paris for RAISE Summit in July. RAISE Summit is the definitive conference for professionals shaping the AI landscape. We look forward to hearing about real-world use cases, meeting current and new partners to talk about progress and plans, and connecting with visionaries from the global AI community.
We’re looking forward to attending RAISE for the first time. We’ll be networking and driving awareness for 5C, and meeting many of our clients and partners in an atmosphere of innovation and enthusiasm for the future of AI.
